Who we are

This website is operated by Mackenzie Hinschberger and Dan Hinschberger, Sales Representatives with RE/MAX Centre City Realty Inc., Brokerage, London, Ontario ("we", "us"). Each RE/MAX office is independently owned and operated. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the real estate privacy rules that apply to Ontario registrants.

What we collect

• What you give us. Your name, email, phone number, property address and anything you tell us in a form, such as your timing, budget, home details or the reason you're getting in touch.
• Tool inputs. Numbers you enter in our calculators stay in your browser unless you send them to us with a form.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and to keep the site working.

Why we use it

• To answer your request, prepare a home evaluation, book an appointment or send you the listings you asked for.
• To provide real estate services if you choose to work with us, and to meet our legal and regulatory record keeping duties.
• To improve the website and keep it secure.

We never sell your personal information or share it with anyone to market to you.

Consent

By sending us a form you consent to us using your information for that request. We only send listing alerts, market updates or other promotional emails if you have agreed to receive them, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run this website. They only process information on our behalf and may store it outside Canada, where it may be subject to local laws.

• Website hosting (Vercel) and database and file storage (Supabase, Canada Central region).
• Listing search (web4realty), which shows MLS® listings and uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam. reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Address suggestions (Photon by Komoot, using OpenStreetMap data), which receives what you type into an address field so it can suggest matches.
• Fonts (Google Fonts) and embedded video and maps (YouTube, Vimeo, Google Maps) where a page includes them.

Cookies and storage

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies on this site. Our own pages use your browser's session storage only to remember small things, like not showing the same pop up twice. Third party tools such as the listing search and reCAPTCHA may set their own cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it, or as long as real estate regulations require for transaction records. Enquiries that don't lead to a transaction are deleted when they are no longer needed.

Keeping it safe

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls and limited staff access, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive financial details through our forms.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. Email us and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
